RatSWD Election
The election of the nominees from academia for the 9th appointment period will be held in 2026. Registration for the electoral register has been open since the 1st of September. Register now and take part in the election!
Centre for International Student Assessment e. V. (ZIB)
Since 2011, the FDZ at the IQB has been part of the Centre for International Student Assessment e. V. (ZIB), which is funded by the federal and state governments.
German Network of Educational Research Data (VerbundFDB)
At VerbundFDB, we at IQB work together with DIPF and GESIS to provide an attractive and high-quality range of research data for empirical educational research. VerbundFDB works in close partnership with KonsortSWD and sees itself as part of the National Research Data Infrastructure (nfdi).
The RatSWD is an independent advisory board that brings together empirical researchers and representatives of the most important public institutions for data collection in Germany. It uses its expertise to advise policymakers on the expansion of data infrastructure.
Consortium for the Social, Behavioural, Educational and Economic Sciences (KonsortSWD)
As part of the nfdi, KonsortSWD and RatSWD are developing the infrastructure for research data in the social sciences, behavioural sciences, educational sciences and economics.
